Saturday Sail

A great way to start a weekend is out on the water in any kind of vessel!   This painting was done from a quick sketch and photo taken on a boat following this one!  Although boats and water are a favorite subject matter of mine, looking at this picture is a reminder to me of many happy times on the water sailing to a destination of good food, good music, and great company.....hope you feel the same when you view this oil painting.  If you are not one to be out on boats, enjoy the scene and the water view. In this painting the grey greens of the water and the listing of the sailboat let you know it was not a sunny, calm day, but that didn't deter anyone.
